Radiology

In house radiology allows us to examine your pet's body in ways our naked eye can't. Radiographs are most often used to assess the internal organs and bones.

Complete In-House Laboratory

Having an in-house laboratory allows us to quickly and efficiently check for underlying health conditions in your pet. A small blood or urine sample can give us a wealth of information about internal organ function. The sooner an issue is detected, the easier, and more cost effective the treatment will be.

In-House Urinalysis:

The urinalysis looks for kidney function and can see what bloodwork can’t sometimes. It also shows bacterial infections that your pets may not be showing any signs of.

  • Gives us 14 parameters
  • Urine microscopy
  • Provides urine sediment images and classification

In-House Blood Work:

The bloodwork looks for signs of infection; anemia (problems carrying oxygen) as well as platelet numbers (aids in clotting blood.) It also assesses liver and kidney function; screens for diabetes or electrolyte imbalances and ensures protein levels are where they need to be.

  • 15 parameter chemistry profiles
  • 22 parameter complete blood count (CBC)
